Literature Text

An eery hush falls to the ground,
silence clings to the wind,
an uneasy calm smothers me
Coldness surrounds me,
enveloping me in its icy fingers
Frightfully I lie here,
praying for tomorrow's sun
The fire within my soul is burning down,
growing smaller and weaker with every breath I take
My skin quivers in the breeze,
the warmth from within is withered
Once again, not sure when I wrote this (I didn't date it). I just remember it was winter and I was in this weird "dark" mood of some kind. Kind of like a depressing state from all the cold I guess.
