I am doing this piece for my cousin who recently had a baby. I need some help with the finishing touches...

I don't know whether I should put the tan & white butterfly in the girl's hair....

And I don't know whether I should put the dried daisies at the bottom of the page.

I'm tight on money this month, as I'm sure alot of other people are. I got slammed with bills all at the same time so I'm trying to catch myself up. I haven't really done many commission in the past, just a couple for friends mostly, but I'm offering commission pieces if you are interested.

Obviously I'm recently obsessed with decoupage. I have several styles of boxes (round, rectangular, star-shaped, and some others) in my possession already, I also have some small frames, and wooden cigar boxes I can decoupage per request. I have a few old vinyl records still I can decoupage for commission as well.

In addition to my regular decoupage work, I have literally hundreds of pressed flowers sitting in large dictionaries at home and I can incorporate them into frames, or do a collage using the flowers (example: [link])

I've also made a few pieces on thick paper using old book pages as background with pressed flowers, and scriptures or quotes on them. (I also make beautiful cards)

Longer process commissions for me would be colored pencil or graphite pencil drawings, or paintings, per request.

I'm kinda hoping this will result in something.....

So most of my watchers know I do stock modeling with (which I love to do, who doesn't love dressing up crazy?)

My aunt really admires the photos I've shown her and although I told her she was insane, she said "you could really do this and get paid Larissa".

Is it crazy to think I could get paid to model?

It'd be a nice way to pay for college.....
(like Izzie from Grey's Anatomy. lol)

How does one even get into modeling?

I'm working on a drawing of a mermaid right now and I'm having difficulty. I was searching for some suggestions or encouragement?

Also, should I keep this black & white or fill in with colored pencil??

My sister gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl at 6:38pm on Sunday, July 20th. She is 6lbs 4oz and 19.5 inches long. She is my first and only niece and I'm so proud!
